Made from rapidly renewable bio-based materials rather than oil based chemicals and artificial colours commonly used in other glasswool products, ECOSE® Technology reduces binder embodied energy by up to 70%.
Combined with the brown colour comes a new 'super soft' feel, which in conjunction with the same reliable thermal and acoustic performance you have come to expect from glasswool, result in the next generation of energy saving insulation. With the trend towards environmentally responsible and 'formaldehyde free' specifications, EarthWool™ builds on the already exceptional environmental credentials of glasswool. Made using sand and recycled glass bottles combined with ECOSE® Technology, EarthWool™ does not contain artificial colours or added formaldehyde, resulting in environmental credentials above even sheep's wool, and also in full compliance with 'formaldehyde free' specifications.
